combo pill withdrawal bleeding after placebo week is done?

hi! i’ve been on the generic of yaz for about 2 years now and i’ve noticed that after my 4 day placebo week, i usually don’t start bleeding until the 1st or 2nd pill in a new pack (with hormones). i bleed for ~5 days once i start. my first few months were weird, like long bleeding times, but i’ve gotten into a schedule now where i almost always start bleeding on the 1st or 2nd pill of my new pack, and it’s usually between 5 and 6 days that i bleed.

i’m just wondering if anyone experiences or has experienced something similar to this when on the combo pill? is this something i should be worried about protection-wise? i have had unprotected sex with no issues but i never let my partner finish in me, however i have been considering it lately as it’s something we both want to try.
