Interview for school assignment

Hello! I am in a fellowship at my college in New Jersey and have to conduct an interview about my future career plans from someone who works in the field. I was wondering if anyone could quickly share their input about where to look at grad school, what a typical day in your life looks like, and if there was anything you wish you knew before starting this path / anything you would want a younger archivist to know.
