It is so annoying that Gmail removed the option to select all the conversations

I get a lot of emails from a few particular senders and I used to just delete all of them at once when it was time to do so. Gmail removed the option to select all emails part of a search and now I have to go through dozens of pages to delete 50 at a time. I could strangle the person that decided that this option shouldn't be available anymore.
