Sooo 4 years, 5 application cycles, Lord knows how many rejections/ghostings over the years, and it all came down to this.

I FINALLY got my yes for a PhD in clinical psychology!!!! Now that I have it, it doesn't quite feel real if that makes sense. Like it all still feels hypothetical even though deep down I'm so happy I could cry (lowkey I think my body is still adjusting to not having this insane stress anymore lol).

I'm still technically on the waitlist at another school for their counseling psych phd. I will say at this point, money is not swaying me one way or the other (funding is booty cheeks either way). I think the thing making me hesitate is that the counseling program is at a wayyyy bigger school with what seems like more structure and easier opportunities available.

With the April 15th deadline next week, I know deep down the official offer is my choice and where I'm supposed to be, but I'm finding it so hard to bite the bullet this week. Like I should just say yes this week vs next week, cause whats really the difference of a few days, right? and I know I will make the most of wherever I go and make my own opportunities if needed too i guess. idk lmaoo typing it all makes it seem like such a simple choice

Time to bite the bullet I think
