Long awaiting Lincoln continental update !

Photos are from a few weeks ago to now , if you’ve been following for a bit I was posting updates on a Lincoln our shop is restoring and I’m rewiring completely. I’ve been sick and I worked on other projects. Where I left off on this Lincoln was originally I was gojng to wire the rear lights and the top wiring. However a previous tech wired the car and I’ve had nothing but issues . Last post I mentioned I had to re do the whole ground and power distribution. The engine ran but it was running poorly and I would not run long. I found out all the grounds for the whole vehicle was ran to a single ground junction block. The power cable also ran to so many junction points and was shocked how it was set up

so it’s been all scraped. The last few weeks I’ve been setting up this Eaton busman fusebox. Started of with re doing the whole dash harness , engine harness and body harness. I got this fusebox with two busbars. One is key on and the other is constant power. After redoing the whole power distribution system we fired it up today and it started right off the bat and sounded the best it ever did. All sensor issues went away. Also found a previous tech left fully corroded turn signal sockets even though he crimped wires to it. Now that we have lighting and power again . Next step is to clean up the dash wiring , get power locks working then we are tackling the top which we got sowed back together ! This thing has so many wires for a 61

All wires are labeled as well as a pin out sheet I created for future trouble shoot.

Update on the 61 Lincoln restoration !
