What would happen if your average citizen disrespected the president?

Would they be harassed for weeks and have their lives ruined? Jailed? Just watching videos of ordinary Australians treating their politicians like normal people or disrespecting them for their failures brings a tear to my eye. No culture of personality worship bs and just straight up reality checks. If only politicians in the PH were treated the same for their incompetence.
