Person Falsely Identified Themself as A Lawyer

Hi. This person crashed their car into me, causing some pretty bad damage. They are claiming the crash was my fault but it absolutely wasn’t. They ran into me and kept coming like they didn’t see me. After we got out of the way of traffic, the first thing they identified themself as a lawyer and told me they were going to be late for court. Turns out this person is not a lawyer but a paralegal. They also have prior traffic convictions. Is there anything I can do? I feel like this person should not be falsely identifying themself and additionally using that to intermediate someone you just ran your car into. Any advice welcomed and thoroughly appreciated.
