So I was messing around with my username before posting a fic chapter and I think my subs weren't notified

As the title says. I have some extremely kind regular commenters that show up inmediately when I post and they were silent this time, so for a while I was :( thinking that the new chapter sucked. But since I changed my username around the time I posted the chapter, I think maybe it's possible they weren't even notified? has that happened to anyone?
