2011 Bryant 340AAV - water in bottom of housing

Before calling a local company and inviting full press FUD leading to a sales pitch, hoped to get some experienced eyes on this. Noticed occasional water around the base of the unit the past several weeks. No standing water or active leak - just a wet ring around the perimeter of the concrete blocks the box sits on. Finally opened it up tonight and found a small pool of water on the right side near the back, but could not see the source above. Doesn't seem to be a clogged drain line, since the condensate pump runs occasionally. The great AI brain says a cracked collector box is the next most likely culprit.

We've considered a proactive full replacement of the furnace and AC before wifey joins me in "retirement" at the end of the year - just getting big ticket items checked off while income still flows. Just looking for a little guidance on whether this may be an easy fix, the beginning of ongoing repairs, or if it's time to just bite the bullet and get new equipment installed.
