Does anyone else get this feeling?

I LOVE reading romance books--it's like my favorite genre. And I love it when my feelings and emotions are triggered by the book. But recently, I bought Heartless by Marissa Meyer from the bookstore and came across a spoiler that said >!the male lead dies in the end and it's a sad ending. For some reason, I'm kinda deinfluenced to read it now. Does anyone else feel deinfluenced to read a book if it's ending is sad?!<
