Nervous for Dosage!

My doctor prescribed me 0.5 mg of Wegovy to start, and my insurance actually approved it! I’m nervous due to everyone saying how bad they felt after starting just 0.25 mg, and he prescribed me double. I didn’t know it was abnormal until I picked it up at the pharmacy and the pharmacist was surprised it was my first dose with the mg! I was hoping to start tomorrow night with my first injection, but as someone who already has some GI issues, what should I be prepared for realistically?

My BMI as of now is in the 40s, and I have PCOS and insulin resistance, so I definitely need the help from the medication. I also used to do ECT, but just recently figured out you cannot do ECT while also on Wegovy, so I’m going to push out my ECT appointments for a bit as I’ve been stable and having negative side effects from it anyway! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
