What is your favorite hotel with a fun pool/resort pool? With kids.

We are Virginia locals (Richmond). And have a long weekend this summer where we’d like to go somewhere with a fun pool. instead of planning around the town, we are going to plan around the hotel. We loved the Kingsmill Pool. Do not want to do Great Wolf Lodge or Massanutten/Wintergreen. The Homestead and The Salamander are too fancy. Loved The Gaylord (not even in VA) as the staff was amazing and it was so clean. But they don’t have an outdoor pool. Is there anything in Northern VA? or have we ruled everything out? Not looking for an Airbnb/VBRO.
