I (24F) don't trust my roommate (26?F)

Hey all,

I am just relaying my experience with my roommate. It's almost the end of the semester so thank god, but idk I don't trust my roommate. We have separate bedrooms in a single apartment. I'm feeling a little off about her. Every time, I'm in my room, I've been talking to my family and when that happens they are on speaker, but again we have separate rooms in the apartment and therefore its that not that loud. However, recently I've been talking to a guy and when he's talking, he's on speaker and I've noticed when that happens she's behind my dorm door like I feel, hear, thats she's roaming behind my door (it seems like she wants to listen to who it is I am talking to). Whatever who cares. Mind you, my roommate barely leaver her room.

Today, I came back and started preparing dinner and I left my laptop in the kitchen on the table and was going back and forth between my room and the kitchen. However, I washing my dishes to prepare for cooking, therefore the washed/rinsed dishes were in the sink and this is when my roommate appears. I go back to room to get something and when I come back, she's washing her dirty dishes onto the clean ones she just saw me wash. I found that it was rude, but okay I did'nt say anything I then continued and washed my dishes again.

Afterwards, I back to my room to get something, but I left my laptop on the counter and when I came back I saw her around my laptop, I did'nt say anything again and then I felt maybe my laptop was bothering her, so I picked it up and brought it to my room. However, when I was looking at the screen, it was on a totally different page that I left the laptop on. Again, I thought it was weird and went back to the kitchen.

Then I go back to the kitchen and then start preparing food, but my door was open and my keys were inside the room. During all this time, I knew the door wasn't closed so there was no need to keep the key with me. However, our rooms are near each behind the kitchen. After a while, I went back to my room and I couldn't get in. It was locked. But im pretty sure I didnt lock it. I was so shocked, I just stood in front of my door saying, "I can't believe i'm locked out of my room." Not only that, I'm pretty sure the key was in my room, but I don't know for sure, because I can't get into the room. I was debating if I should leave the actual room and get a spare key from the dorm office or stay bec the situation was bizarre.

Eventually, I went outside to got a new key (which took like a good 15-20 minutes). When I returned, I found her sitting in the living room about to leave the apartment (but again it was so off because she rarely leaves the apartment).

Before I was a little unsure, but today seemed so off. Idk...what do you guys think?

tl;dr I’ve been feeling uneasy about my roommate. Recently, I’ve noticed her lingering near my door when I’m on calls, washing her dirty dishes over ones I just cleaned, and being around my laptop—which was on a different page when I came back. The weirdest part is my bedroom door somehow got locked even though it can only be locked from the inside, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t lock it. I had to get a spare key, and when I returned she was suddenly leaving (which she rarely does). Overall, the situation feels off and I don’t fully trust her.
