Tired of seeing trash all over NYC? I built an app for that

If you're in NYC and tired of seeing trash everywhere — I built something for you.

I'm a high schooler from NYC and I got fed up with how much waste goes unreported in our neighborhoods. So I built an app called Borough Scan.

Here's how it works:

• Open the app and tap Scan

• Take a photo of any waste you see

• Select the location and type of waste

• It gets pinned on a live Google Maps view so others can see it too

Right now I just need real people to try it out and report waste in their area. The more people use it, the more useful the map becomes — kind of like how Waze works but for waste in NYC.

Would love feedback too. Drop a comment or DM me if you try it.
