How can we take back hold of online asexual discourse?
I'm kind of new to the ace community. However, as it has been pointed out on this sub multiple times, I've seen a lot of online discussions of asexuality defining it as, "Experiencing little to no sexual attraction," instead of just no sexual attraction—and I'm getting tired of hearing stuff like, "Asexuals can have/enjoy sex," and, "Asexuality is a spectrum."
It's sad to see how it is affecting the actual ace community. So, I'm just wondering, what can we do in order to change the conversation towards a non acephobic or diluted understanding of asexuality?
This could go from social media (Youtube, Instagram, ect.) channels based on this subreddit's wiki libraries, to articles, educational illustrations, maybe even an asexuality board or association/institute lead by aces from this sub (like AVEN, but better). Idk. What do you guys think?
Feel free to share any ideas :)
Also, if any of these initiatives already exist, feel free to share them as well (so far, I've only seen a bunch of online content with the "updated" asexuality definition).
