Question about Hindi classes

Hi friends, I am a highschooler committed to OSU. To make it short, I have empty spaces for classes and am recommended to fill these with non-STEM coursework. (Note: my lang requirement is finished, this is beyond that)

I was interested in maybe taking the South Asian Languages/Culture minor, or maybe just taking only the Hindi language classes. However, I've read that some of the introductory language classes at OSU are quite hard -- and I need a high GPA.

To be blunt, I'm virtually monolingual (I've taken German since middle school, but it's similar to English, and not to mention I'm not stellar at it). Particularly, I'm worried about speaking, because there are four different ways to pronounce the "T" sound alone.

In short, I want to just see if anybody's taken the courses before, and their opinions on the strictness/grading/etc of the course. I was thinking about emailing the professor, but figured it might be better to ask here first.
