Aspiring electrical engineer: Is Boot.dev a good path to learn Python & C first, then move into C++ for embedded systems?

Hey yall,

I don't really have that much coding xp but want to get really good at it and eventually learn c++ so that i can make my own hardware and then program it myself. From what i understand boot.dev is good for learning how to code for games and they teach python and c. Would it be a good idea to take their courses on those 2 languages and then move onto c++ with different resources? I want to be able to do things like make a voltage tester or make automated watering systems for my houseplants. Would the skills i get from boot.dev be applicable for that? I don't really want to make a game but more real world stuff.

Cheers and thank you!
