Day 2 of having a rescued pigeon.

so I had changed the paper inside the cardboard box with thick news paper to keep him warm for the night and tucked away the cardboard box in a dark corner where the temperature wasn't so cold unlike the bedroom. after I woke up I checked on him and fortunately he had drank water from the bowl but seems like he has pooped a lot and I can see that he had ate the soaked polished rice I had gave him but it also seems like nothing digested as they are whole in his poop. mom is keep saying to send him back to wild cause that's how natural pigeon survive according to her. he's remaining puffed up, what does that mean? After I return from. coaching I will try to hand feed him some peas but first I will make sure to open his beak to see whether he has canker or not.
