Advice for disciplining and Correcting 4 year old

Fellas I need some advice. My 4 year old is very stubborn and independent and will not listen. I know typical kid but he headbutted his preschool teacher today and I’m at my wits end trying to figure out how to correct him appropriately.

We have tried time out, redirection and even spanking but he’s like an iron wall.

Any suggestions or books or anything?
