Has anyone successfully restarted after a reaction?

I had a reaction a few months ago while titrating up to a therapeutic dose. By my second week on the drug at 50 mg (which was faster than I was comfortable with), I developed flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, a canker sore, and a painful scalp.

I saw my primary care provider at the time, and he ruled out DRESS. My psychiatric provider has since suggested trying the medication again now that some time has passed, but I’m feeling hesitant.

Has anyone had a similar reaction and successfully restarted this medication later on?
