Vent/advice on my freelance pr job

Its a long story that i won't bore everyone with the details of, but ive been freelancing for this very unstable boutique pr firm for about 3 years. I'm 26 now and I turned into a freelancer for them after I began as an intern. They have lost so many clients that they lowered my rate to $500 a month. Checked my bank account yesterday and they only paid me $375... safe to say I'm over it, especially because I've been loyal to them throughout all of their chaos (probably my own fault but lesson learned). I make 60K at my full time consulting firm but I live in an expensive city so I really like having a second job. At this point, I'm just looking for a remote side gig that pays more than $500.. any advice? I've reached out to firms with my resume but unsurprisingly, i've had no luck.
