why do elementary teachers hate standardized testing? how does it affect teachers?

I'm a first grade teacher. In my state, the testing starts in third grade. I am moving to third grade next year. I'm still not sure how to feel about the move, but I was reading about third grade on reddit and a lot of people have mentioned standardized testing, but no one quite mentions why it is terrible? Does it affect teacher pay?
