Adult Autism Assessment

Just wondering where one could find accessible, trauma informed and reputable clinics for autism assessment for adults, here in BC. I am aware that the assessment is an out of pocket cost.

We're located in the northern part of the province - can the assessments be done via something like tele-health? or does it have to be in person? is it perhaps better in person? What are the wait times like?

Any direction would be helpful for me to pass along to someone who's really struggling navigating our medical system for mental health. This person does have a referral in for a psychiatrist (are we better off waiting for that - even though the wait time is stupid long?)
