Bradycardia
33 yo female. 150lbs, 5'7. I am not athletic at all. I wear bilateral leg braces for an injury 13 years ago so I dont work out or walk much at all. I do have 2 very young children so my sleep is around 7 hours a night.
about a month ago I passed out at my desk at work. (im a therapist so not overly stressful and i know how to deal with stress). the ambulance that took me to the hospital had my heart rate at 41bpm at the time.
since then I wore a holter monitor for 12 days. had an echo that stated "septal motion is consistent with conduction abnormality" but otherwise normal.
Holter came back this week but I haven't heard back from the cardiologist yet.
I'm having daily episodes of dizziness/ lightheadedness, chest pain, brain fog and fatigue. all of this happens when I'm seated like at my desk, driving or on my couch. and not right after sitting down, I've always been there for awhile. blood pressure has been normal.
my holter results state bradycardia burden of 58.3%. tachycardia burden of 5% (when I stand up my heart rate skyrockets to the 130-140 range, ive been told pots but im not dizzy when im standing). ectopic burden is low. all of my patient recorded events of dizziness and chest pain have heart rate in the 40s. no sinus pauses noted. lowest rate of 39 when I was awake at 530am and highest rate of 161 at 7pm.
I've tried salt increase, water increase and compression socks. nothing has made a difference thus far.
is this likely to align with a sinus node issue or vasovagal issues? am I likely to be looking at a pacemaker? is a bradycardia burden of 58% significant?
lmk if im missing any pertinent information for clarification.
