Why is therapy so expensive?

Okay, so I’m someone that’s chronically depressed. I would like to talk to someone but very few people accept my insurance. Obviously y’all have to eat too. But do you get a thrill from knowing that people can’t afford you and have to suck it all up? Like the whole point you got into it was to help people. But fuck the person that can’t pay?
