I’m

So deeply misunderstood.

I dislike that my actions are mistaken for something else completely.

I dislike that my words always get twisted.

I dislike that people remember everything I do wrong, but forget everything I did right.

I dislike that I’m pursued but never fully chosen.

I dislike that the choice to stay is never an option, the choice to leave is always final.

I dislike that no listens to me, they listen to defend, not to understand.

I dislike that everyone’s feelings are more important than mine.

I dislike that I’m never given a chance to explain, it’s a one way street.

I dislike that my feelings are never valid, it’s always “you’re asking for too much”, “you’re doing too much” “you’re crazy” “that doesn’t make any sense” “why are we still talking about this” (the list is long)

I dislike that my reactions to something is always “she’s got an attitude”, “she’s being emotional”, “she always acts like this” or the classic “just leave her alone, she’ll get over it eventually”

I dislike that my reaction to how I was treated isn’t justifying.

I dislike that my wrong doings are always highlighted but never thought about from my point of view.

I dislike that no one apologizes or feels the need to. I get the “that’s just how it is” “let’s pretend it never happened” or the infamous “you did this, why do I need to apologize to you”

I dislike that it’s never let’s start over, it’s just over.

I dislike that it’s always “maybe one day” just not today

I dislike that in the end, how I react justifies someone else’s reasoning for why they did what they did.

In the end, there isn’t I’m sorry, let’s fix this, it’s “the end”
