2545 Erin Centre Condos

My parents just bought a condo, was told BBQ were allowed on the balcony. We saw the gas hook up there. Once the deal was done, I picked up the keys today. Well found out by building management that ALL BBQ Hook ups were disconnected. Not a dealbreaker now, but just curious if anyone knows why ??? Thanks
