What the hell happened to this game???

So I haven't played in a long time, and I came back because I had some Auric cells I wanted to burn, and Mina looked fun (been meaning to get Trickster since forever, but just never did).

So I get into a game, and figure, screw it, I don't want to be an ultra tryhard since the people in my lobby were all relatively new (sub 100 hours), and didn't appear to be smurfs. This became more evident because I basically had 2 people hooked at any given time in the match.

However, despite NEVER not being in a chase with someone, and having at LEAST one person hooked, sometimes 2 at once, after about a minute into the match, suddenly I lose a gen. Then lose another one 15 seconds later. Then 30 seconds later I lose another, then almost 10 seconds after that, the last two pop.

Like... how the fuck am I supposed to deal with this without going turbo sweat meta perk and tunnel / slug the shit out of people?
