Hyacinths Didn’t Come Back

I planted brand new hyacinth bulbs in Fall 2024 and they came up lovely in Spring 2025. This year they didn’t come up at all! I don’t cut back the green, I always let bulb leaves turn brown before cleaning up. This happens to me again and again- this past Fall I planted about a dozen each of Michael’s Flower and Windflowers, one each came up. I’ve planted Iris Reticulata, Grape Hyacinths, Mini Daffodils, Tulips- they come up once and then never again, or don’t bloom. I even made sure to fertilize with bone meal after they all died, also a bulb fertilizer when they first poke through in the Spring (if they even do at all). The only bulbs that seem to thrive are standard daffodils. They are lovely every year. Winter/Spring yard gets plenty of sun and then the trees fill in and the yard turns dappled. Why am I cursed?
