Why does it always seem to fade? Why do they take and leave?

I'm very careful with who I choose to get to know and then it's even further narrowed down by who I actually find attractive or worthy of a love that I know I give.

I've only found two people, and tried twice... I think it's fading again just like the first one did. He felt such loneliness it would physically hurt him and after a year of me constantly giving my attention, support and unconditional love it's almost like he got his fix and didn't need me anymore...

And now the guy that I'm talking to (supposedly also an obsessive type, which I don't doubt because of the things he has done) seems to be doing the same. Just getting what he needed and doesn't have the same drive and need for me...

What the hell are you supposed to give then? If you give too little they leave, if you give what they need they take it and leave.

I will accept you for who you are with all of your perceived flaws, be there anytime you need me day or night and if it's right for us... I will do anything. Maybe that's not what people want anymore
