Advice for Supervisors?

Hey hey -

I just got the S after my LPC. I was encouraged by my practice owner because I might need to start supervising in a few years or so as some of my colleagues retired. I was surprised as I’m relatively young and a recent fully licensed therapist.

Well, low and behold, I will be supervising much earlier. Starting at the end of the summer into the fall.

I am a little freaked out and paranoid. The idea of supervising people, particularly someone who could be older than me, is a little intimidating.

Any advice or thoughts or words of wisdom?
