‘94 1100cc wheels on an ‘04 750cc?

Bought a set of 1100 wheels and axles for my 750. Wheels came from a shaft driven bike, mine is also shaft driven. Do I need to use the front and rear axles from the 1100 or the 750? My attempt at changing wheels and I don’t want to take it apart before having a plan and I cant find any videos on YouTube of anyone running this setup. The tire aspect ratios are the same. I believe the wheels came off a 94, my bike is an 04.
