which game do you think captures Persona 3's spirit more, Reload or Portable?

I ask this disregarding the obvious fact that Reload has modern conveniences and updates, I ask this question primarily in regards to narrative, art, aesthetic and overall vision that can be most closely compared to FES, I'm genuinely curious, I ask this as someone who hasn't finished Reload yet so no spoilers please,
