I don't mean this as a complaint or anything, it's a legitimate question because I'm not really sure myself.

I don't think her nerfs are remarkably nefarious barring HKabari follow up HKD removal, of course. That one is the only one I really don't get.

Up until now oki was her deal, ending her combos with `Kabari > IAD Tatami > Trying to open the opponent up with her mix > Repeat`. That was her main playable loop; a vortex, basically. Now they removed that without incentivizing a clear alternative aside from "playing more neutral" by making her follow up 2 frames faster, which seems pretty anecdotic to me for a still rather slow neutral tool that doesn't have any kind of armor or cancel.

They also gave her 2H HKD, which I don't really see a reason to do so either after nerfing its blowback and raising properties as well so it's harder to combo into it.

My take is that they expect Baiken to have short-duration, close-distance combos that end in 2H to apply crossup based mix by using HKabari and its followup to go through the opponent, being that technically 4/6(?) way mix (front overhead and low, back overhead and low or tick throw on either sides).

Summary: What the fuck am I supposed to do. Using SKabari after HKabari follow up makes me feel like a dumbass and doing IAD j.H won't last too long because people will realize it's not a safejump anymore soon.

What is Baiken supposed to do now?
