Short naps, crate location?

I just adopted an 8 week old Shiba x Chow mix. It’s only been a couple days but crate training hasn’t been too too bad. She whines but will eventually sleep. The thing is her naps are not 2 hrs, they’re more like 20-60 mins max. I think it’s because I’m waking her up by having the crate in my home office with me. I feel like I have to be really quiet while she naps and can’t walk around. Should I be crate napping her in another room? Is that the more common route or if you’re working from home you’re keeping the crate near you? I’d love a situation where I can one day have the crate in my office, leave it open and she goes in and out throughout my work day as she pleases
