Are fragrance creators overhyping scents for views and money?
Lately I’ve been noticing how a lot of fragrance content on TikTok and YouTube feels more like constant hype than honest opinions. Every video is “you NEED this,” “compliment monster,” or “best fragrance ever,” and it makes me question how genuine it really is. Are creators actually loving all these scents, or are they being paid, using affiliate links, or just chasing views?
No hate, but some of these creators don’t even seem that knowledgeable about fragrances, yet they push products so confidently. It feels like people are just selling whatever gets attention at this point. Has anyone else noticed this or feel like fragrance content has become more about marketing than actual passion?
