Best place to grab a beer southside?

I've recently moved to the Woden valley for the first time in my life to have more space and a slower lifestyle.

However having only lived in Belconnen the Inner North and Inner South before I'm looking to find good local places to go out with mates. I've found heaps of suggestions for food on the Subreddit, but what about going out for drinks? I'm not keen on going to places in inner Woden/Phillip as they seem made for a younger crowd and my crowd is mid thirties.
