Laptop Falling Asleep Randomly
Recently (as of 4/4) my laptop has been falling asleep randomly (well- not so much random, I will explain in my post).
My laptop is a Victus Gaming Laptop 16-s0075nr (7L8F5UA). As of recently, my laptop has been falling asleep while it's actively being used. The event tracker gives me two warnings each time this happens:
First, my laptop states that it is entering Modern Standby (sleep mode)(ID: 506), then it will give the warning "Power Manager has requested suppression of all input (INPUT_SUPPRESS_REQUEST=1)" (ID: 700) followed by "Power Manager has not requested suppression of all input (INPUT_SUPPRESS_REQUEST=0)" (ID: 701), and then it exits Modern Standby (ID: 507) and lastly changes the system session (ID: 566).
This process usually happens when I am actively doing something strenuous on my laptop, such as playing a game. While it does happen outside of it, its most common. This process happens consecutively to the point I genuinely cannot use my laptop until it decides it's done, and even then, it happens until I close the game.
I have done several things to troubleshoot it. I have ran "sfc /scannow" to check for corrupted files, I have restored health to my DISM, I have restarted my laptop, I have removed the charger and turned it off for an extended period of time and turned it back on, I have removed recent windows updates, I have checked my drivers and their update dates, and I have genuinely no clue what else to do. I cannot restore to a previous point in my device history because I had no idea that was disabled until I tried it. I have done extensive research into fixing this issue, but could only find two solutions. The first was Intel Graphics, but my laptop does not run intel graphics. The second was turning off Modern Standby and switching it to s3, but my laptop does not support s3 and I am worried about the risks of switching it anyway.
Is there anything else I can do? Do I just take it to the repair shop? This is my last resort, I cannot afford a 200$ repair.
