I'd like advice from u all who've been through my situation

so I'd like to get advice from u guys who have already 'been there, done that' lol.

so im in my 40s, currently in the Philippines. im originally from the US and can't decide what option I should choose. so I've got a nice chunk of money (265k+) cash, zero debt.

the options im considering:

option1: buy a home back in the US (250k-300k) mostly a cash buy and live in the US and overseas (Philippines has an easy 3yr visa, which im sure u all know) but I dont have family here, so I can go anywhere.

option 2: live in the Philippines (mostly in ph) and just invest that money into etfs, bonds, commodities, etc. biggest downside about living in se asia is i can't buy a house and im not trying to put it in some ladies name lol. no thanks.

any of u that have been in my shoes, let me know how u played it, and/or if u regret the choice u chose... I appreciate all feedback ✌️
