Narc Mom Bars Autistic Grandson From Inside Home During Short Visit

This January my mild symptom narc mom asked me to help take down her tree as she's in her 70s with a replaced hip. My wife unfortunately had the flu that day so I had planned to take my 11 YO son and my 3 YO son along with me. When I mentioned this to my mom she got really weird about and and asked if this was indeed the case if I could leave my youngest in the car in her heated garage with his brother watching him.

Why might you ask? Well it's because my 3 YO is autistic and tends to like to climb. Silly me for thinking I could bring both my boys inside with me and have the eldest watch his brother to make sure that he didn't get into trouble, for a task that would take 5 minutes max. It especially doesn't make sense given that she hosts Christmas and he has been inside her house along with his cousin who is 2 weeks older.

Needless to say I left the boys at home and went alone, getting into an emotional conversation with my mom while I was there.
