Trying to quit heavy weed and tobacco use with nicotine pouches, need advice

NSFW

Hey everyone,

I’ve been a very heavy cannabis and tobacco smoker for about 10 years. I’ve tried to quit many times and always failed. Now I really have to stop, because in France, roadside drug tests can detect cannabis use even a week later, and you can lose your driver’s license. So I don’t really have a choice anymore.

A friend recently let me try nicotine pouches, and honestly, it feels like the first thing that might actually help me break the habit. It really reduces the urge to smoke.

However, while reading here, I saw some people saying that real tobacco snus might actually be less harmful than the powder-based nicotine pouches.

I’m a bit confused and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who know more about this. Is snus actually a better option? Are nicotine pouches safe enough to use as a quitting tool?

Thanks a lot for any help.
