Personal internet for gaming

Hi, i rented a room in a house, i am staying here for almost 2 yrs now. the internet is included in the rent. I play Fortnite every night on my PC and this was not really a problem before (only sometimes) but for last 2 weeks my ping is over 500 and it is lagging all the time. It is really pissing me off. Because the landlord is my roommate and i pay rent to him, and he pays for the internet, i cannot really do anything to change the current internet. My question is can I get a portable internet for gaming only for my room or only for my pc or something? Do you guys have suggestions? Thank you!!
