What can I do when my adult child won't allow me to speak with them in the hospital?

Question

My child is 18 and still lives at home. We have a good home life, or so I thought. In the last year or so she has been seeing a therapist for gender related issues. She started college last spring and has been going full time. My wife usually takes my daughter to school and licks her up on the afternoons but today I got out of work early and she asked me to do it. I arrived at the school at the agreed time and texted my daughter to let her know I was there. she did not respond to my texts. I assumed maybe her class was running long so I waited for a while. after 20 minutes there was still no response so I tried to call her. it went straight to voicemail. I tried several times with no response. eventually I went into the school to begin looking for her. I could not find her anywhere. I spoke with the campus security and eventua5i was I formed that she had been taken to the hospital. she had self admitted and had been accompanied by her therapist. I went to the hospital and they would not let me see her or speak to her. they said she was denying any visitors. I have no idea what happened or why and since nobody at the hospital or the college will tell me anything I am just stuck in limbo. it has been 5 hours since she was admitted and there has been no word. she still won't answer any texts or phone calls. as she is an adult I don't have any rights or anything under these circumstances. what can I do?
