Haven is a very obscure Marvel villain, and a very sad one. Radha Dastoor was born into immense wealth in India, and used it to help others who were less fortunate. She was a saintly, caring woman of deep spiritual faith, which is why others came to call her "Haven". But then, she made the mistake of falling in love with the wrong man. He left her pregnant, and then things got worse; The Adversary, a powerful demonic god in the Marvel Comics universe, possessed her unborn child and began to speak to her through it, tricking her into thinking it was both her child and a divine voice. It also stalled her pregnancy, and gave her vast powers, mainly access to a pocket dimension where she could alter reality to her whim, and anyone she placed there. However, she mainly used it for teleporting and healing, as she was not inclined to combat.

For 20 years, she stayed secretly pregnant in her first trimester, and the Adversary influenced and manipulated her from within, steering her into becoming a supervillain that led a cult responsible for the death of millions because, thanks to the Adversary, she believed that she needed to destroy the world in order to save it. This led to X-Factor coming after her.

Even when acting as a villain, she had a kind, gentle demeanor, tried to heal the heroes of other issues they were having, didn't want to fight them, and seemed genuinely distraught over the horrific things she believed she had to do. She also rebuked herself for being "selfish" for falling in love with that man who left her pregnant, believing she should have stayed focused on her work of helping others.

When the Adversary was finally born after twenty years, it killed her, but not before informing her of its true nature, and how all the horrible deeds she had done were for nothing. Her dying plea was for Roma, the omniversal guardian goddess, to stop the Adversary; she never even asked to be saved herself. She was selfless even to the end despite how she'd been decieved and corrupted.

I'm not very familiar with DC. What characters would she merge well with for an Amalgam creation? About the closest one I can think of is Ra's Al Ghul, who also believes the world has to be functionally destroyed to be reborn, and kinda has the "demon" thing going on already (called The Demon's Head, etc) and I could see the Lazarus Pits being made to somehow connect with her possession by the Adversary. Any other ideas/thoughts?
