Chances for UofT MScAC with 80% from Western? (Missed 2026 deadline)

Hey everyone, I’m graduating from Western CS this summer and just realized I missed the Fall 2026 deadline for UofT's masters.

Is there a Winter 2027 intake? I’m planning to apply so would they accept me for fall or winter semester in masters of applied computing???

Stats: 80% overall (B+/A- range).

If I get a UofT CS professor to agree to supervise me for an MSc, can they override the fact that I missed the Fall 2026 deadline? Also, with an 80% from Western, is a professor's 'pull' enough to get me through the admissions committee for a research-based MSc? Or even for MscAC???
