It’s Alright to Let Things Out
It’s Alright to let things out,
Let things be.
Rains come after a drought,
When you finally see.
Hidden inside you and me,
Is the same hiding in we.
Blossoms only happen,
When the flow of rains come.
Nothing can keep fastened,
What must come undone.
For we all know,
What makes young things grow.
From seed to sapling,
What makes the fruit show.
To let fires burn
And watch the heat
Untethered to its beat
Are lessons learned
I came here to write something of note,
Half the time, I don’t know what I wrote.
I’m letting this thing called life do
Anything where there’s a whoo.
I’m smiling through the bullshit.
Because I was built for it.
I came here to say something of note,
And left with lessons that left me broke.
Only to see what is reality,
I am the only way there is to be.
