Newbie to sport mode
As the title suggests, I tried sport mode for the first time tonight on my 2016 RDX. It’s my “mom car” but I needed a thrill tonight going to Publix alone 😂 feel free to laugh because I sure did! It’s the little things!
Anywayyyyy I wasn’t sure I’d notice a difference but the shifting felt SO much smoother than in normal drive - is this common? I’ve wondered if something was wrong with the way it shifted day to day as it feels a bit rough and abrupt. I may just keep driving it in sport mode for a nicer ride (unless I need to get it looked at of course). I don’t care about a minor difference in MPG because I have lost interest in the RDX over the quality of shifting. I don’t truly enjoy driving it when it does the jerking shifting deal, but I haven’t gotten fed up enough to sell it since it is reliable and safe. Thanks for any insight!
