Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen Wedding Dress sleeves

When Rachel is in her room after having had the wedding dress "customized" by the women of the family there are sleeves on the dress. The scenes cuts away to something else in the room and then back to Rachel and the sleeves are...gone! They remain gone for the rest of the scenes with her in the dress. Where did they go? Did they magically disappear?
