Families lack of Concern

Upset of Families lack of concern when boundaries are clearly being crossed

I was at a church picnic event. Several of my family members and extended in-laws were there. I had approached a table, and one of my young family members, a little six-year-old girl, was sitting at the table, with a special needs young man, he is a teenager, was just kissing and touching her. At the same table was an adult family member who was watching this child getting touched and kissed by a teenager. The six year old is yelling at this young man to leave her alone. The adult is not saying or doing anything. She's just sitting there with this stupid smile on her face, looking over with wonder and awe and adoration and what is occurring in front of her.l got fucking pissed off, and I immediately put my arm up so he would stop touching and kissing her, but he still kept talking and bothering her. So the six-year-old again yelled, can you leave me alone? You're being very annoying. So then I had told the young man, she said no, you really need to leave her alone, and he had eventually left. The other adult family member did nothing but smile.

This same small child was having an argument with her brother. Her brother kept tickling her, and she told him to stop, but he didn't. So I asked him, I said, why are you still doing this? He says, but it's just tickling. He saw no wrong. And there's nothing wrong with this because they are both two very young, small children, but I needed him to see, she said, no, you have to stop. So the six-year-old was still really upset. We had gone back to the grandmother, and the grandmother just yells at both of them to knock it off and there needs to be love at home. So I just stood up and said, to knock it off. The boy didn't need to be yelled at, he just needed to be spoken very clearly about boundaries, and the little girl is upset. And she's just yelling at both of them to knock it off and there needs to be peace at home. And I said, no, you need to address the situation, not yell at both of them, because if you ignore it, it's going to go away.

I was on a trip on a train with just all female adult family members. I was on the train standing by the pole with another female family member, and she's getting groped. I helped intervene and the guy left . The other female family member was sitting on a seat, far away with her face buried in the phone. She did not see what was happening, but she kept defending the guy. Well, he wasn't doing anything. He wasn't touching you. I'm like, okay, one thing, thank you for... not being helpful at all. She was being touched. She was being groped in her boobs. We had to pretty much, shove him off of her. And you're just sitting there defending him, saying, nothing really had happened. When you weren't there and actually didn't see anything happen.

Plus the ward child rapist in the ward but it's okay he's been through the temple. The lack of concern is extremely scary and frustrating.
