Chronically Ill and Disabled
Hello there,
As the title says- I am Chronically Ill and Disabled.
To get into specifics, I have Fibromyalgia, which is a chronic pain condition. I also have C-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and Autism.
Since I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I have had to withdraw from school and volunteering permanently, based on my doctor's recommendation. I also require the use of mobility aids such as a rollator and cane.
I was previously studying to work with animals. I have all my GCSE's and A-Level's, and I have a Level 2 Certificate in Animal Care. I am also certified in First Aid with CPR and Defibrillator training.
I was previously studying for my Level 3 Certificate in Animal Management, before I had to leave due to my health.
I'm 22, I have already had so much of my life taken from me due to mental illness and now chronic pain. I want my life back, and I want to live a normal life like other people my age.
I'm in therapy, and I am looking into attending a pain clinic and a physiotherapist to help manage my fibromyalgia. What I'm looking for is genuine advice on what my options could be in terms of employment and how to get there- i.e. education and training, whilst also being realistic given my health conditions.
Thanks for reading, have a nice day!
